Find My GLP-1 Path

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective: May 3, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 7, 2026

California residents have the right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

This page explains how The RX Index handles personal information and how you can opt out.

The RX Index is a pricing intelligence and comparison resource for GLP-1 telehealth providers. We are not a medical provider, pharmacy, insurer, or prescribing clinician.

1. Do we sell personal information?

We do not sell personal information for money.

We do not sell consumer health data.

We do not sell quiz answers, email addresses, health-related selections, medication-interest signals, or provider-route recommendations to advertisers, data brokers, or affiliate partners.

2. Do we share personal information?

We may “share” personal information as that term is defined under California law when we use certain third-party analytics, cookies, pixels, session-replay tools, or similar technologies that may collect information about your activity on The RX Index over time.

This may include tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, if enabled.

The categories of personal information that may be shared through these tools include:

  • Internet or other electronic network activity, such as pages viewed, buttons clicked, referring pages, approximate visit time, and interactions with the website.
  • Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, device type, screen size, IP address, and similar technical information.
  • Cookie, analytics, or pseudonymous identifiers used to understand website activity.
  • Inferences from website activity, such as interest in a health-related guide, provider category, medication guide, or quiz path.

We treat this type of activity as potential “sharing” when required by California law and provide California residents the right to opt out.

3. What happens when you opt out?

When you opt out, we will stop loading non-essential analytics, advertising, session-replay, and similar tracking technologies that may be considered a sale or sharing of personal information under California law.

Your opt-out will not limit your ability to read our guides, use our tools, or access our website.

Some essential cookies or technologies may still be used for security, fraud prevention, privacy preference storage, site functionality, debugging, and other purposes permitted by law.

4. How to opt out

You can opt out in any of the following ways:

Use Cookie Settings

Select “Cookie Settings” in the footer of The RX Index and choose “Reject All” or disable analytics, session-replay, and similar non-essential technologies.

Use Global Privacy Control

If your browser or browser extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser and device.

Email us

You may email privacy@therxindex.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share Request.”

You do not need to create an account to opt out.

You do not need to verify your identity to opt out of sale or sharing, but we may ask for information reasonably necessary to process your request, such as the email address or browser information associated with your request.

5. Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf.

If an authorized agent submits a request for you, we may ask for documentation showing that you authorized the agent to act on your behalf. We may also ask for information needed to process the request.

6. Non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your California privacy rights.

We will not deny you access to our content, charge you a different price, provide a different level of service, or penalize you because you opted out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

7. Sensitive personal information

Some information collected through The RX Index may be considered sensitive personal information under California law, including information concerning health or health-related inferences.

For information about limiting the use of sensitive personal information, please visit our Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information page.

8. Consumer health data

For information about how we collect, use, share, and protect consumer health data, please visit our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

We do not sell consumer health data.

We do not share quiz answers with affiliate partners when you click a recommended provider link.

9. Changes to this page

We may update this page from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
