Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Effective: May 3, 2026

California residents have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of their personal information. This page explains what we do and how to exercise that right.

1. Do we “sell” or “share” personal information?

We do not sell personal information for money. However, our use of analytics (Google Analytics) and session-replay (Microsoft Clarity) cookies may be considered “sharing” under the CPRA's broad definition, because those services are operated by third parties that may use the information for cross-context behavioral profiling.

2. How to opt out

  • Use the cookie banner: Click “Cookie settings” in the footer (or wait for the banner on your first visit). Choose “Reject all” or use Customize to disable Analytics and Session replay. This will prevent the analytics and Clarity scripts from loading.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request and apply the same rejection across this site automatically.
  • Email us: Send an opt-out request to privacy@therxindex.com. You do not need to verify your identity for an opt-out, but we may ask for the email address you used so we can confirm.

3. Authorized agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require written documentation that you authorized the agent.

4. Non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA/CPRA rights. Your access to our content and tools is the same whether or not you opt out of analytics.
