Find My GLP-1 Path

Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information

Effective: May 3, 2026  ·  Last updated: May 7, 2026

California residents have the right to direct certain businesses to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

This page explains how The RX Index handles sensitive personal information and how you can limit our use of it.

The RX Index is a pricing intelligence and comparison resource for GLP-1 telehealth providers. We are not a medical provider, pharmacy, insurer, or prescribing clinician.

1. What sensitive personal information means

“Sensitive personal information” is a category of personal information that receives additional protection under California law.

On The RX Index, sensitive personal information may include information concerning health, health-related preferences, health-related inferences, or other information that could reasonably be linked to a California resident.

An email address, IP address, cookie ID, or device identifier is not sensitive personal information by itself. However, when that information is linked to health-related quiz answers, provider-route recommendations, medication-interest signals, or health-related browsing activity, we treat it with additional care.

2. Sensitive personal information we may process

We may process the following categories of sensitive personal information when you choose to provide them or when you consent to certain tracking technologies:

  • Health-related quiz answers, including answers submitted through the Find My Path quiz.
  • Health markers and condition selections, including selections related to Type 2 diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, sleep apnea, pregnancy, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, MTC/MEN2 history, pancreatitis, gallbladder issues, allergies, insulin use, current GLP-1 use, or other clinician-relevant factors you choose to disclose.
  • Body-composition or eligibility inputs, including height, weight, BMI-related inputs, or similar information entered into a quiz, calculator, or form.
  • Medication-interest signals, including interest in GLP-1 medications, provider routes, cash-pay options, insurance-supported routes, or related treatment categories.
  • Contact information linked to health-related activity, including an email address you provide to receive a quiz result, saved route, checklist, or response from us.
  • Health-related browsing inferences, including visits to health-condition guides, medication guides, provider pages, quiz pages, or similar content, but only when collected through analytics, cookies, pixels, session-replay tools, or similar technologies with your consent.
  • Communications you send us, including health-related details you voluntarily include in emails, forms, or privacy requests.

We do not intentionally collect precise geolocation data for the purpose of identifying or tracking visits to health care facilities.

3. How we use sensitive personal information

We use sensitive personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary to provide the services or information you request, operate the website, protect our systems, respond to you, and comply with applicable law.

These purposes may include:

  • Operating the Find My Path quiz.
  • Generating a provider-route or medication-pathway recommendation based on the answers you provide.
  • Sending you your quiz result, saved route, checklist, or related information when you provide your email address.
  • Responding to questions, support requests, privacy requests, or legal requests.
  • Maintaining, debugging, securing, and improving the website, quiz flow, forms, database, and email systems.
  • Improving the clarity, usability, and accuracy of our quiz, matching logic, provider-route explanations, and health-related content.
  • Creating aggregate or de-identified analytics that are not reasonably linkable to you.
  • Complying with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests.

4. How we do not use sensitive personal information

We do not sell sensitive personal information.

We do not sell consumer health data.

We do not use sensitive personal information to target advertising to you.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you for advertising.

We do not share your quiz answers with affiliate partners when you click a recommended provider link.

We do not use sensitive personal information to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

5. How to limit our use and disclosure

You can limit our use and disclosure of sensitive personal information in any of the following ways:

Use Cookie Settings

Select “Cookie Settings” in the footer of The RX Index and choose “Reject All” or disable analytics, session-replay, pixels, and similar non-essential technologies.

This helps prevent non-essential third-party tools from collecting health-related browsing activity or interaction data from your browser.

Email us

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Limit Sensitive Personal Information.”

Please include the email address you used on The RX Index and describe what you want limited.

Decline optional email submission

You may use the Find My Path quiz without submitting your email address if that option is available. If you do not submit your email address, your quiz answers are less likely to be associated with direct contact information.

Request deletion

You may request deletion of sensitive personal information we maintain about you by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Delete Sensitive Personal Information.”

6. What happens after you limit use

After we process your request to limit, we will use and disclose your sensitive personal information only for purposes permitted by California law, such as providing the service you requested, maintaining security and integrity, debugging, short-term transient use, performing services on our behalf, compliance, and other legally permitted purposes.

If you limit cookie-based collection, non-essential analytics, session-replay, pixels, and similar tracking technologies will be disabled for your browser to the extent supported by our consent system.

If you email us to limit use of sensitive personal information associated with your email address, we will take reasonable steps to locate and apply your request to the records we maintain.

7. Verification and timing

You do not need to create an account to submit a request.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to process your request, such as the email address you used on The RX Index.

We will respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If reasonably necessary, we may extend the response period once by an additional 45 days. If we need an extension, we will tell you within the first 45 days.

8. Service providers

We may disclose sensitive personal information to service providers or contractors that help us operate The RX Index.

These may include hosting providers, database providers, email service providers, form providers, analytics providers, session-replay providers, security providers, and compliance support providers.

Our service providers and contractors are permitted to process sensitive personal information only to provide services to us or for other purposes allowed by law.

9. Relationship to consumer health data

Some sensitive personal information may also be consumer health data under certain state privacy laws.

10. Relationship to sale or sharing opt-out

This page explains how to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.

For information about opting out of the sale or sharing of personal information under California law, please visit our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

11. Non-discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your California privacy rights.

We will not deny you access to our content, charge you a different price, provide a different level of service, or penalize you because you limit the use of sensitive personal information.
