Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information
Effective: May 3, 2026
California residents have the right under CPRA §1798.121 to direct a business to limit the use and disclosure of their sensitive personal information to that which is necessary to perform the services or provide the goods reasonably expected by an average consumer.
1. What sensitive personal information do we process?
On most pages we do not collect sensitive personal information. The principal exception is the Find My Path quiz, which asks about health markers (such as Type 2 Diabetes, prediabetes, PCOS, sleep apnea) and safety conditions (such as pregnancy, personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2, pancreatitis). If you choose to enter your email at the end of the quiz, those answers are stored alongside your email address.
2. How to limit our use
- Decline to provide: The quiz works without an email; you can see your match without submitting one.
- Request deletion: Email privacy@therxindex.com with the subject “Limit Sensitive PI” and the email address you used. We will delete the corresponding quiz_leads record within 45 days.
- Cookie banner: Reject analytics and session replay so your interaction with health-information pages is not transmitted to third-party trackers.
3. Use beyond the limited purpose
We do not use sensitive personal information for any purpose other than (a) operating the matching feature you requested, (b) improving the matching algorithm, and (c) responding to your inquiries. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you for advertising.
4. Non-discrimination
Exercising this right does not affect your access to our content.
