Its standard compounded plans cost \$249 a month for semaglutide and \$359 a month for tirzepatide, with clinician visits, dietitian support, coaching, and partner-lab testing bundled into the price. But its live four-month offer pages and current help center give different meanings to the same \$596 and \$896 charges, prepaid medication still ships only one month at a time, refunds are narrow, and the Better Business Bureau gives Thrive Health Group Inc. an F for 42 unanswered complaints out of 48.¹²³⁴⁵

Fridays may fit you if: you're paying cash, you'll actually use the coaching and dietitian support, you're okay requesting your own refills, and you want one flat compounded-plan price with no separate medication charge.

Fridays is probably not for you if: you want an FDA-approved brand medication through insurance, you live in Louisiana, you need to pick your own pharmacy, or you want the freedom to get most of your money back if you quit a prepaid plan.

What we did not do: enroll as patients, submit medical information, receive medication, test support firsthand, or independently audit every pharmacy license. We say so because you deserve to know exactly what kind of review you're reading.

Is Fridays GLP-1 legit?

Fridays is a legitimate, identifiable telehealth platform — a real operating business with written terms, independent licensed clinicians, named U.S. pharmacies, and thousands of public reviews. "Legit" does not mean flawless: its complaint-response record is poor, and some of its own pages contradict each other. But it is not a fake storefront.

Let's define "legit," because review sites throw that word around. For this page, legit means: a real operating company you can name, real terms you can read, real licensed clinicians making the medical decisions, real pharmacies named in writing, and thousands of public reviews. Fridays clears all five. Legit does not mean every customer has a smooth ride, or that every offered medication is FDA-approved, or that you can skip reading the fine print. Fridays does not clear those — and we will show you why that matters.

Who actually runs Fridays? The answer is less tidy than it should be. The Terms say the website is operated by Thrive Health Group Inc. The live site footer says Thrive Health, Inc. is the legal entity operating Fridays. The pages we reviewed do not explain the relationship between those two names. BBB and the footer list 17322 Murphy Ave, Irvine, CA 92614. The Terms use 92618 for a mailed copyright notice and 92816 for a mailed arbitration opt-out. If you mail anything, use the exact address stated for that specific notice and keep proof of delivery.⁷⁸⁵

Who makes the medical decision? Not Fridays. Its Terms say Fridays does not provide medical care itself. Clinical services come through OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC and other independent medical groups. A clinician reviews your information and decides whether a medication is appropriate. Paying does not guarantee a prescription.⁷⁸

Now, the transparency problem. We read Fridays' pages side by side, and they do not always agree. This table is why we tell every reader to screenshot checkout:

None of this makes Fridays fake. It makes Fridays a real company with messy public pages — and it means the smart move is to trust the final written checkout terms, not a headline. Save the screen that shows the amount due today, the exact number of months, the renewal date, and the next renewal charge.

How much does Fridays GLP-1 really cost?

The cleanest verified prices are \$249 per month for compounded semaglutide and \$359 per month for compounded tirzepatide on flexible month-to-month plans. Longer commitments can lower the effective monthly price, but Fridays currently publishes a direct conflict: the help center calls \$596 and \$896 three-month plans, while live product pages call them four-month subscriptions.

First, the honest part most review pages skip: Fridays is not the cheapest way to start a GLP-1. Some programs advertise lower first-month prices. The appeal is the bundle. On the compounded plans, Fridays says the price includes medication if prescribed, provider access, dietitian or nutrition support, group coaching, mental-health coaching, a fitness app, and covered lab work through partner labs. There is no separate medication bill for compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. Wegovy is the exception: Fridays bills that membership and medication separately.⁸⁹¹⁵

The \$596 semaglutide conflict

The \$896 tirzepatide conflict

Source check: Fridays' current help center labels \$596 and \$896 as three-month plans. The live product pages label those totals four-month subscriptions and say billing repeats every four months at the then-current discounted rate.¹²³

There is one more math problem. The live product pages call the deal "buy 3, get 1 free" and describe a 25% discount. But \$596 is not three times the current \$249 month-to-month price, and \$896 is not three times the current \$359 month-to-month price. The published totals produce larger savings than one free month when compared with the current monthly prices. That does not make the offer bad. It means the public explanation does not reconcile. Your checkout screen must settle which plan you are buying.

Read the upfront column twice. "\$150 a month" sounds gentle. It is a \$1,800 charge today. "\$240 a month" is a \$2,880 charge today. And prepaying does not mean all your medication shows up at once. Fridays ships about one month at a time, and you must request each next fill yourself.⁴

What about the \$117 and \$198 prices in the ads?

Fridays' public pricing page advertises semaglutide at \$117 a month with code NYNY12 and tirzepatide at \$198 a month with code NEWYOU12. But that page does not show one clean total, one clean term, and one clean renewal amount. The general Payment Agreement says a discount applies to the first payment only. The separate four-month offer pages say their discount repeats at each renewal. Those are different promotion rules.⁸⁷²³

Before using a code, save four things:

If any one of those fields is missing, ask support for the answer in writing before paying.

Brand-name options are a separate lane

Fridays also publishes brand-name paths, but they do not all use the same billing model:

Fridays' Wegovy help page lists prepaid membership totals of \$387 for three months, \$594 for six months, and \$948 for 12 months for the pill; and \$417, \$774, and \$1,180 for the same terms for the pen. Medication is still billed monthly after approval.^1512138

That quiet difference matters: the "no membership fee" promise fits the compounded plans, where the program cost is bundled. It does not describe the Wegovy path, which has a separate membership charge.

One more fee to know: the Terms allow a no-show or late-cancellation fee if you miss a provider appointment or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice.⁷

What is included — and what can still cost extra?

The right GLP-1 path depends on your state, insurance and formulary, whether you want an FDA-approved or compounded medication, your preferred format, and your budget. Use Find My GLP-1 Path to narrow those choices before you prepay.

How does Fridays actually work — from signup to refill?

You take a short quiz, pay, and submit a health intake; then an independent clinician decides whether treatment is appropriate. A prepaid plan still ships medication in monthly amounts. After your third weekly dose, you must request the next fill yourself. Fridays says provider review usually takes two to three days, followed by five to seven business days for delivery after approval.⁸⁴¹⁶

Here is the whole path, with the two spots where people get tripped up marked clearly.

Step 1 — The eligibility quiz. A few minutes of health and goal questions. Fridays requires you to be at least 18 and says you need a BMI of 20 or higher to start its screening process. That is only the website's screening floor. It is not a promise of a prescription and is not the full medical standard a clinician must apply.⁸

Step 2 — Pick a plan and pay. ⚠️ Trip-up #1 lives here. Fridays says you are charged when you complete enrollment and submit your intake, before a clinician has approved medication. Section 1.1 of the Terms promises a full refund if the provider finds you ineligible. But the refund section says the full refund applies when medical disqualification happens "before services begin," while another clause says subscription services begin when you submit the intake and are charged. Those clauses do not line up cleanly.⁷

Our advice costs you 10 seconds: save the Payment Agreement, the refund section, and your checkout confirmation before you pay. If a clinician turns you down, submit the refund request in writing and attach those records.

Step 3 — Health intake and first visit. You provide a deeper health history. Depending on the state and clinical group, the first review may be a video visit or an asynchronous review. The clinician can order labs and prescribe only if treatment is appropriate.⁸⁷

Step 4 — Labs, if required. Fridays says eligible Quest and Labcorp testing is included, and another help page also names BioReference. Tests completed within the past 24 months may be accepted if they meet the provider's needs. Outside labs can create a separate bill.¹⁰⁹

Step 5 — Your prescription goes to a pharmacy you do not pick. Fridays assigns the pharmacy based on location, dose, and other factors. Its help center says patients cannot directly choose or change the pharmacy, although they can raise a concern with the clinician.¹⁴

Step 6 — Shipping. After a provider approves the prescription or refill, Fridays says most orders arrive within five to seven business days. The clinical review before shipment often takes another two to three days. Missing labs, a needed visit, payment problems, pharmacy backlogs, holidays, or a late refill request can make it longer.¹⁶

Step 7 — The refill rule. ⚠️ Trip-up #2, and it is the big one. Prepaid does not mean automatic medication shipment. Fridays says it usually sends one month at a time. After the third weekly dose of each shipment, you must log in, choose New medication request, and send the refill form. The subscription can bill automatically even when no refill request has been sent.⁴⁹

Set a repeating reminder for the day after dose three — every month. That does not guarantee an on-time shipment, but it removes one avoidable cause of delay. If you are close to running out, contact the clinician or portal rather than changing your dose schedule on your own.

The Fridays refill timeline nobody should have to discover late

What do Fridays GLP-1 reviews say?

Fridays holds a 4.2 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 4,604 reviews as of August 26, 2026. Trustpilot shows 79% five-star reviews, 9% one-star reviews, and 1,230 reviews in the past 12 months. Praise centers on staff, support, and an easy telehealth process. Complaints center on support delays, order or dosage problems, billing, and getting a problem fixed.⁶

That is a strong public score at real volume. It is also not the whole story — so read it the way a careful buyer should.

What happy members say, in their own words:

Those comments match the main positive themes on the profile: helpful staff, providers who listen, simple signup, support, and fast shipping when the process works.⁶

What unhappy members report: unexpected charges, late or missing shipments, trouble getting an answer, dose or formulation changes, refund disputes, and long waits when a clinical or billing problem needs a human. These are customer allegations, not findings. But several themes line up with written policies we verified: automatic billing, manual refill requests, the 72-hour cancellation window, narrow refunds, and pharmacy assignment that the patient does not control.⁶⁷⁹¹⁴

How to read the glowing reviews. Three facts matter:

1. Fridays says the testimonials on its own site are paid. That disclosure appears on its pricing page.⁸
2. Trustpilot says Fridays asks customers for reviews, positive or negative, and replies to 99% of negative reviews, usually within a week. Trustpilot also says companies may not offer review incentives.⁶
3. Fridays runs a public creator-affiliate program. A discount code in a video or post may mean the creator earns money from signups. So do some links on this page, which is why our disclosure is at the top and the evidence is linked here.⁸

None of that erases 4,604 reviews. It means the score is one signal, not proof of clinical quality, pharmacy quality, or how support will handle your hardest case.

What about the Fridays BBB rating and complaints?

The Better Business Bureau gives Thrive Health Group Inc. an F rating. BBB lists 48 complaints, says 42 went unanswered, shows that the business is not accredited, and says its file opened May 1, 2026. The page was checked August 26, 2026.⁵

The F is serious. It also needs the right meaning. BBB's profile measures business conduct and complaint response. It does not test the medication, inspect a pharmacy, or decide whether a clinician practiced safely.

How can 4.2 stars and an F both be true? They measure different records. Trustpilot reflects consumer ratings and reviews, and Fridays replies to 99% of negative reviews there. BBB tracks formal complaints and the business response to them. BBB says 42 of 48 complaints went unanswered. When a customer escalates to BBB, formal response is where Fridays currently falls down. Both facts belong in your decision, especially if you are thinking about paying \$1,800 or \$2,880 upfront.⁶⁵

Here is what the common complaint themes mean when matched against the written rules:

A reminder cannot fix a pharmacy backlog or a support failure. It can only prevent the delay caused by a missing refill request. That is still worth doing.

Can you cancel Fridays — and will you get a refund?

You can cancel by emailing [email protected] or using the cancellation process in your account, if available. Fridays must receive the request at least 72 hours before the next scheduled billing date or the plan renews for another billing cycle. Canceling stops future renewal; it does not normally return the unused part of a prepaid plan.⁷

The 72-hour rule, in real life: do not count only calendar dates. Count the hours. If a charge is scheduled for the 15th at 10 a.m., send the request no later than the 12th at 10 a.m. — earlier is safer. Save the email, portal screenshot, and confirmation.

The standard refund section lists four paths:

1. Medical disqualification before services begin.
2. A verified billing error, such as a duplicate charge.
3. A refund required by law.
4. Credit toward another Fridays program when switching, where approved.

Outside those paths, the Terms say fees are non-refundable, including when you cancel mid-cycle, decide to stop, or do not get the result you hoped for. Prescription medication generally cannot be returned after it is dispensed or shipped. A damaged or wrong shipment must be reported within 24 hours, and the standard fix is a replacement.⁷

There are narrow exceptions elsewhere in the Terms. For example, the Terms describe a possible prorated refund when a user properly terminates because of a future Terms update, and they say Fridays may provide a prorated refund if Fridays ends the subscription. That is why "four refund cases, no exceptions" would be too broad. For an ordinary customer cancellation, though, the standard policy remains strict.⁷

There is no normal pause button. Fridays says the standard pause feature has been discontinued. The usual option is to cancel and reactivate later, though support may make a billing-date change or special arrangement case by case.¹⁷

One more thing that prevents panic later: the charge may appear as "OPNLP FRIDAYS," "Thrive Health Group," or "OpenLoop Healthcare Partners PC." Fridays' public pages name all three. Save your checkout confirmation so you recognize the charge.⁸⁷

One more legal term to read: the Terms contain a binding arbitration provision and class-action waiver. They also say you can opt out of the arbitration agreement within 30 days of first becoming subject to it by emailing [email protected] or mailing the required notice, with your name, address, and a clear opt-out statement. Keep proof. That does not decide whether a complaint is valid, but it changes how many disputes must be handled.⁷

Are Fridays medications FDA-approved — and what should you know about safety?

Fridays' compounded semaglutide and compounded tirzepatide are not FDA-approved. FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are sold. Fridays also offers separate brand-name products. Zepbound and Wegovy are FDA-approved for chronic weight management in eligible patients. Ozempic is FDA-approved for type 2 diabetes; use for weight loss is off-label.^1812138

Quick vocabulary, because this matters: a compounded medication is prepared by a pharmacy for a prescription rather than sold under an FDA-approved new drug application. Compounding can be lawful when the pharmacy and prescription meet the conditions in federal and state law. It is not the same thing as FDA approval, and a compounded product is not automatically a generic copy of an approved drug.

Keep the lanes separate:

The shortage-era rules changed

The national shortage exception is no longer the broad reason it once was. FDA says the shortage-based enforcement-discretion periods for compounded tirzepatide and semaglutide ended in 2025. In April 2026, FDA reminded 503A pharmacies that a compounded drug must be made for an identified patient from a prescription and cannot be made regularly or in large amounts as an essential copy of a commercially available drug, unless the prescriber documents a change that makes a significant difference for that patient. FDA also says semaglutide and tirzepatide are not on the 503B bulks list or the drug-shortage list.¹¹

That does not let us declare a specific Fridays prescription lawful or unlawful from a webpage. It does mean "the shortage lets everyone sell copies" is no longer an accurate explanation. Ask the prescriber what patient-specific need the compounded formulation is meant to meet.

A site may say a product comes from an FDA-registered facility. Registration is not FDA approval, and it is not an FDA endorsement of the finished compounded drug.¹⁸

The dosing-error warning is real

Compounded semaglutide often arrives in a multi-dose vial. You may need to measure a dose with a syringe. FDA has received reports in which patients took five to 20 times the intended dose because of confusion over units, milliliters, concentration, or syringe markings. Some patients needed medical care or hospitalization.¹⁹

When your package arrives:

• Match your name and drug to the label.
• Check the concentration, added ingredients, syringe size, and written dose.
• Ask the clinician or pharmacy to show the dose in both milligrams and syringe units for that exact vial.
• Do not copy directions from a different vial, a social post, or an old prescription.
• If the liquid, label, concentration, or added ingredient looks different, stop and contact the clinician or dispensing pharmacy before injecting it.

Two minutes of clarity beats an emergency-room visit.

FDA also reports 990 adverse-event reports associated with compounded semaglutide and more than 730 associated with compounded tirzepatide as of May 31, 2026. FDA says those reports do not always prove the drug caused the event, and reports may be undercounted because many state-licensed pharmacies are not required to send adverse-event reports to FDA.¹⁸

Which pharmacy fills a Fridays prescription?

Fridays' Terms name four partner pharmacies:

• RedRock Pharmacy in St. George, Utah
• Health Warehouse in Florence, Kentucky
• Precision Medicine in Bellmore, New York
• Triad Rx in Daphne, Alabama

A separate help article also mentions SSP Pharmacy, so the public list may not be complete. Fridays says the pharmacy is chosen by location, dose, and legal or operational needs, and patients cannot directly select or change it.⁷¹⁴

Fridays also says all partner pharmacies are "503A-accredited." Section 503A is a part of federal compounding law, not an FDA approval badge. We did not independently verify every current state license, accreditation, inspection history, formulation, or certificate of analysis for every pharmacy in the network. The safest useful question is simple:

"Which pharmacy will fill my prescription, what exact concentration and added ingredients will I receive, and which syringe units equal my prescribed dose?"

One pharmacy history point needs full context. FDA sent Triad Rx a warning letter in 2019 after a 2017 inspection found serious problems in sterile compounding. FDA issued a closeout letter in May 2023 saying the firm had adequately addressed the cited violations and no longer produced sterile drug products. That matter is closed; it should not be described as an open warning.²⁰²¹

One privacy point also needs limits. OpenLoop is named in Fridays' public terms as part of the clinical-services structure. OpenLoop Health filed a California breach notice for an incident dated January 7, 2026. The public notice we reviewed does not say whether Fridays members were among the affected people, so this page does not claim they were.⁷²²

Who may not qualify through Fridays?

Fridays' website says people may not qualify if they are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to become pregnant; have end-stage kidney or liver disease; have an active or past eating disorder; have current suicidal thoughts or a prior suicide attempt; have active cancer; have current or past pancreatitis; have a transplant treated with anti-rejection drugs; have severe gastrointestinal disease; or have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or MEN 2. Fridays says the list is not complete. The clinician makes the decision.²³

Who is Fridays best for — and who should pick a different path?

Fridays fits cash-pay adults who want medication plus a support bundle — dietitian or nutrition help, coaching, labs, and provider access — at one compounded-plan price, and who will manage their own refill and renewal dates. It is the wrong fit for insurance-first buyers, Louisiana residents, pharmacy-choosers, and anyone who wants an easy exit from a prepaid plan.

Measured on our five pillars — clinical legitimacy, care quality, transparency, access, and cost — Fridays looks strongest on the care bundle and cost structure, and weakest on transparency and formal complaint handling. We are publishing this as a profile, not a numeric score, because we did not complete an order, receive medication, test support, or independently audit every pharmacy credential.

Clinical legitimacy — identifiable, with limits. The operator is named, independent clinical groups make prescribing decisions, pharmacies are named in the Terms, and Fridays says compounded products are not FDA-approved. The public entity names and pharmacy list are not perfectly consistent.

Care quality — the standout on paper. Provider access, dietitian or nutrition support, coaching, partner labs, and refill review make this a fuller service model than a medication shipment by itself. Trustpilot's strongest themes also point to staff and support. We did not test those services firsthand.

Transparency — the weak spot. The receipts are in this page: unfinished pricing boxes, stale review badges, three billing descriptors, two operator names, three ZIP codes for the same Irvine street, a refund clause that argues with itself, and \$596/\$896 plans called three months in one place and four months in another.

Access — good with caveats. Fridays says it serves every state except Louisiana for compounded medication. It offers compounded and brand-name paths. But patients cannot pick the pharmacy, medication shipment requires a monthly request, and exact services can vary by state.

Cost — competitive when you use the bundle. \$249 or \$359 all-in for a compounded plan can make sense for someone who uses the support. It is a weaker deal for someone who wants medication only. The prepaid savings can be large, but the refund and renewal risk grows with the amount paid upfront.

Bottom line, our honest verdict: Fridays is a real program with an above-average care bundle, priced fairly, wrapped in below-average paperwork. Start month to month. Screenshot your checkout. Set your refill reminders. Open every shipment right away. Those four steps protect you from the most preventable billing and refill mistakes. They cannot guarantee good support when something outside your control goes wrong.
