No on MEDVi's compounded path; yes on its brand-name path. MEDVi's current compounded GLP-1 plans have no separate membership fee. MEDVi says one program price covers provider care, medication if it is prescribed, and shipping. Its Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, and Zepbound® injection cards list $99 plus medication cost. MEDVi still treats the program as a subscription that renews until you cancel.
That's the easy part. Here's what surprised us.
On September 23, 2026, we found three different public prices for compounded semaglutide on MEDVi's own pages: $116, $166, and $179. One of those pages even disagrees with itself. So the fee isn't the thing to watch. The price on your checkout screen is — plus the date you have to cancel by. We'll show you both.
| MEDVi plan type | Separate membership fee? | Is medication included? |
|---|---|---|
| Compounded GLP-1 (injections or tablets) | No separate fee advertised | Yes, in the program price, if a provider prescribes it |
| Brand-name Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, or Zepbound® injection | Yes — $99 plus medication | No. Medication is charged on top of the $99 |
Three numbers to know:
- $0 — separate membership fee advertised on MEDVi's compounded plans
- $99 membership + medication — MEDVi's current brand-name plan cards
- 72 hours — how early MEDVi must receive your cancellation before your next billing date

MEDVi's pricing fits you if you're paying cash, you're open to a compounded GLP-1, and you want one advertised program price with no separate membership fee stacked on top.
It's not for you if:
- You only want FDA-approved brand-name medication and want the drug price shown before you start → see how Ro compares
- You want help checking whether commercial insurance covers a brand-name GLP-1 → see the brand-name comparison below
- You want no recurring subscription at all, or you expect a routine refund after a monthly charge → MEDVi's rules do not allow that in most cases (details below)

Does MEDVi have a membership fee? It depends on the plan
MEDVi does not charge a separate membership fee on its compounded GLP-1 plans; the program price is one bundled charge. MEDVi's brand-name Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, and Zepbound® injection cards list a $99 membership plus the medication cost. MEDVi's program is still a recurring Subscription Service that renews until canceled.
So why do some review sites say "yes, MEDVi has a membership fee" and others say "no"?
Because MEDVi uses the word "membership" in more than one way. Both answers are pointing at different things. Here are the important ways MEDVi uses it, taken from its own pages.
MEDVi's "membership" language, decoded
| Where it shows up on MEDVi's site | What it says | What it means for your wallet |
|---|---|---|
| Main GLP-1 page, top of the page | “No membership or hidden fees” | Compounded plans: one price. No fee added on top. |
| Brand-name plan cards | “$99 Membership + Medication Cost” | Wegovy® and Zepbound®: the $99 line plus the drug cost. |
| Cancellation and refund policy | Calls your plan a membership in its “Subscription Service” | Here “membership” also means you are enrolled in a recurring program. |
| Terms and conditions (last updated March 31, 2026) | Your final card charge “may fluctuate” based on your medication and pharmacy | The price in an ad is not a promise that every person will see the same total. |
| Current cancellation policy | Uses “billing cycle” but gives no universal number of days | Check the next billing date in your MEDVi portal. Do not guess. |
Think of it like an all-in phone plan. There's no separate "service fee" on your bill. But the plan still renews every cycle until you cancel it. MEDVi's compounded plans work the same way.
The one catch worth knowing
MEDVi does not post complete medication prices on its public Wegovy® and Zepbound® cards. If brand-name medication with dose-by-dose public pricing is your priority, Ro is the better fit — it lists every dose price up front. MEDVi's compounded offer instead rolls care, medication, and shipping into one advertised price with no separate membership fee on top. For most cash-pay readers, that's the whole point.
Shopping for brand-name only? Jump to the $99 membership breakdown or read our Ro vs MEDVi comparison.
The right GLP-1 provider isn't the same for everyone — it depends on your state, your insurance and formulary, whether you want an FDA-approved or compounded medication, your preferred treatment path (injection or oral), and your budget. Because a general answer can't resolve those for you, use The RX Index's Find My GLP-1 Path tool to get a personalized provider match with source-verified pricing before you choose.
How much does MEDVi cost per month?
MEDVi's monthly price depends on the offer page you start from and the medication you choose. On September 23, 2026, MEDVi's pages showed compounded semaglutide at $116, $166, or $179 and GLP-1 tablets starting at $249. Another official page displayed both $179 and $299 on the same semaglutide offer, but its crawlable text did not clearly label $299 as the next-cycle price. The checkout screen shows the offer attached to your purchase, but MEDVi's terms say the final charge can vary with the prescribed medication and pharmacy.
Most review sites give you one number. We checked MEDVi's own pages instead. Here's what they showed.
| MEDVi page we checked | Price shown | What it tells you |
|---|---|---|
| Weight-loss landing page, Sept. 23, 2026 | GLP-1 injections from $179; GLP-1 tablets from $249 | MEDVi publicly displays more than one starting offer |
| Official GLP-1 upsell page, Sept. 23, 2026 | Semaglutide displays $179/month beside $299/month and “You Save $120”; tirzepatide displays $279/month beside $399/month | The page shows two price points, but its crawlable text does not clearly label one as the next-cycle price |
| “Price-Lock Guarantee” page, Sept. 23, 2026 — product cards | Semaglutide $116/month, tirzepatide $166/month, both labeled with a price lock | MEDVi runs different offers on different pages |
| Same “Price-Lock” page — FAQ and guarantee sections | Semaglutide $166/month, tirzepatide $199/month, promised never to go up | The same page lists two different prices |
| Main GLP-1 page, Sept. 23, 2026 | No fixed number in the crawlable text; the price fields load from variables | The page itself does not give one stable public amount that every visitor can verify |
What about tirzepatide outside the price-lock page? MEDVi's official upsell page displayed $279/month beside $399/month, but the page's crawlable text did not clearly say that $399 was the next renewal price. One universal tablet refill price also was not shown on the public pages we read.
What the "price-lock" page means for you
It's good news if your checkout confirms it. A locked $116 or $166 is far below the separate $299 amount displayed on another official MEDVi page. But the price-lock page shows two different sets of prices. So do two things before you pay:
- Screenshot the price on your checkout screen.
- Ask MEDVi support to confirm your recurring price in writing.
That's your proof if a refill ever comes in higher. Promo pages come and go, so the offer you see today may not be there next month.
Does MEDVi's price go up when your dose goes up?
MEDVi's price-lock page promises that its rate will not go up. The separate page displaying $179 and $299 does not explain in its crawlable text whether those are current versus crossed-out prices, first versus later prices, or prices tied to different offer conditions. We could not verify one universal dose-price rule. Ask before you pay: “Will my total change if my medication, dose, or fulfillment pharmacy changes?”
What will MEDVi cost over a year?
MEDVi does not publish one universal annual total because its public offer prices differ and its current policy does not define one billing interval for every plan. If the same semaglutide amount stayed in place for 12 charges, the official public examples would range from $1,392 at $116 per charge to $3,588 at $299 per charge. Your real total depends on the recurring amount and number of charges shown in your account.
Here's the math, using MEDVi's own displayed prices. Each row is a planning scenario that assumes the same amount stays in place for every modeled charge.
| Official public price example | Total with 12 charges | Total with 13 charges |
|---|---|---|
| Semaglutide, price-lock card: $116 each | $1,392 | $1,508 |
| Semaglutide, price-lock FAQ: $166 each | $1,992 | $2,158 |
| Semaglutide amount on general/upsell pages: $179 each | $2,148 | $2,327 |
| Higher semaglutide amount displayed on upsell page: $299 each | $3,588 | $3,887 |
| Tirzepatide, price-lock card: $166 each | $1,992 | $2,158 |
| Tirzepatide, price-lock FAQ: $199 each | $2,388 | $2,587 |
| Tirzepatide amount displayed on upsell page: $279 each | $3,348 | $3,627 |
| Higher tirzepatide amount displayed on upsell page: $399 each | $4,788 | $5,187 |
| Brand-name membership, only if checkout repeats $99 each cycle | $1,188 + medication | $1,287 + medication |
Our math from MEDVi's official public prices checked September 23, 2026. These rows do not claim that MEDVi will keep the displayed amount for your plan. The 13-charge column applies only if your own account shows a 28-day cycle. Tablets are left out because MEDVi does not post one public tablet refill price that applies to every offer.
The gap between the lowest and highest 12-charge semaglutide examples is $2,196. The fee question takes five seconds to answer. The recurring amount attached to your checkout can change your whole year.
Why show 12 and 13 charges? Many people compare 12 calendar-month charges with 13 four-week charges. But an initial payment plus 28-day renewals can produce a different number of charge events inside a specific 365-day window, depending on the start date. MEDVi's September 2026 policy only says “billing cycle,” so treat both columns as planning examples and use the calculator with your exact date and interval.

What is MEDVi's $99 membership for?
MEDVi's $99 membership appears on three current brand-name plan cards: Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, and Zepbound® injection. The medication is billed on top of the $99, and MEDVi's public cards do not show the full medication prices or state the $99 billing interval. One MEDVi landing page lists Ozempic® injection starting at $1,999 a month.
The $99 is the membership line. The drug is a second charge. MEDVi also notes that its Wegovy® injection and Zepbound® injection cards are subject to availability.
Here's how MEDVi's brand-name setup compares with Ro, the provider we point most brand-name shoppers to:
| Brand-name cost question | MEDVi | Ro |
|---|---|---|
| Membership | $99 + medication cost on current brand-name cards; the cards do not state the billing interval | $39 first month, then $149/month — or as low as $74/month on a 12-month plan paid upfront |
| Medication prices shown publicly? | Not on the Wegovy® and Zepbound® cards we checked | Yes, by medication and dose |
| Wegovy® pill | Price not posted | $149 (1.5 mg), $199 (4 mg), $299 (9 mg and 25 mg) |
| Wegovy® pen | Price not posted | $199 for the first two months at 0.25 mg or 0.5 mg for eligible new patients who sign up by Dec. 31, 2026; then $349 at 1 mg–2.4 mg and $399 at 7.2 mg |
| Zepbound® KwikPen® | Price not posted | $299 (2.5 mg), $399 (5 mg), and $449 (7.5 mg–15 mg with the listed manufacturer offer) |
| Foundayo pill | Not on MEDVi's plan cards | From $149 |
| If you're not medically eligible | MEDVi's policy says disqualification can trigger a refund; its FAQ later says a refund may be issued | Ro says the $39 first-month membership is refunded if you're not eligible for GLP-1s |
| Insurance help | MEDVi says its affiliated medical groups are out of network | Free coverage check for select medicines; Ro says it handles the paperwork |
Sources: MEDVi plan cards and Ro's pricing page, September 23, 2026. Ro says its cash prices match LillyDirect®, NovoCare®, and TrumpRx.
Over a year: MEDVi's public cards do not support a dependable annual total because they show neither the $99 billing interval nor the medication price. If a checkout repeats the $99 once a month, 12 charges would equal $1,188 before medication — but verify that cadence first. Ro advertises an annual-plan rate as low as $74/month, equal to $888 over 12 months if that displayed rate applies. Its first month plus 11 months at the public month-to-month rate totals $1,678 ($39 + 11 × $149). Ro also shows the drug price first.
One important difference: Ro sells FDA-approved brand-name medications. MEDVi's compounded plans are a different kind of medication — not a cheaper version of the same product.

Does MEDVi have any hidden fees?
Based on its public pages, MEDVi advertises no separate membership, hidden, or standard shipping fee on its compounded plans. A few rules can still cost money: medical consult fees can't be refunded, the final charge can change with the medication and pharmacy, and MEDVi's “free” dietitian visits carry a footnote about insurance and copays.
"Hidden fee" usually means a charge you didn't see coming. So we put every charge MEDVi can make — and every rule that can cost you — in one place.
The MEDVi Charge Map (checked September 23, 2026)
Included in the compounded plan price
| Item | What MEDVi says | Where we found it |
|---|---|---|
| Provider review and care plan | Included | MEDVi GLP-1 page |
| Medication | Included, if a provider prescribes it | MEDVi GLP-1 page |
| Shipping | Free, expedited | MEDVi GLP-1 page |
| Support | Unlimited 24/7 appointments, messaging, and support | MEDVi GLP-1 page |
| Lab work | The subscription price may include lab services | MEDVi refund policy FAQ |
Could cost you money
| Item | What we found | Where we found it |
|---|---|---|
| $99 membership | Brand-name plan cards only. Medication is extra, and the public cards do not state the billing interval. | MEDVi plan cards |
| Dietitian visits and coaching | Advertised as free, but a footnote says they depend on insurance and copay eligibility decided at the visit | MEDVi GLP-1 page footnote |
| Medical consult fee | Once you've had a medical consult, that fee can't be refunded | MEDVi terms |
| Price changes | Your final charge can change based on your medication and the pharmacy that fills it. MEDVi says support will contact you if that happens. | MEDVi terms |
| Prepaying for several months | Charged upfront. If you cancel, you get back the months when no medication was shipped. | MEDVi refund policy |
| “MEDVi guarantee” | MEDVi displays the badge, but the public pages we checked did not give complete written terms | MEDVi public pages |
Not offered
| Item | What we found | Where we found it |
|---|---|---|
| In-network insurance billing | MEDVi's affiliated medical groups are not contracted with commercial or government health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid | MEDVi terms |
Our take: We did not find a separate hidden fee in the public pages we checked. The dietitian footnote is the one most people miss. Ask if a copay applies before you book that visit.
What patients say about the included care: one invited Trustpilot reviewer wrote, “Prompt appointments are included as part of the treatment.” She added that having a provider, coach, and nurse available when needed made the process feel supportive. — Yasha Sharma, 5 stars, September 22, 2026

Does MEDVi auto-renew? How to cancel without another charge
Yes. MEDVi plans renew automatically each billing cycle until canceled. To stop the next charge, MEDVi must receive the cancellation at least 72 hours before the next billing date, by email to [email protected] or through the chat in the patient portal. Care continues through the end of the cycle already paid for.
MEDVi says you can cancel any time, for any reason. The only trick is timing.
How to cancel MEDVi in 5 steps
- Find your next billing date in your MEDVi patient portal.
- Count back 72 hours. Then add a few days of cushion. We'd aim for a full week early.
- Cancel in writing. Email [email protected], and send a message in portal chat too.
- Screenshot everything — your billing date, your message, and MEDVi's reply.
- Check your card after your last paid cycle ends.
How the 72-hour rule works: If your next charge is Friday at 10 a.m., MEDVi's cutoff is Tuesday at 10 a.m. Miss it, and MEDVi's policy says that cycle gets charged and your cancellation starts with the next one. Use the date and time in your own account.
Copy-and-paste cancellation email
To: [email protected] Subject: Cancel my MEDVi subscription Hi MEDVi team, Please cancel my subscription at the end of my current billing cycle. Name: ___ Account email: ___ Next billing date: ___ Please reply to confirm my cancellation and that no more charges will be made. Thank you.

When does MEDVi give refunds?
| Your situation | What the current MEDVi policy says |
|---|---|
| You cancel within the first 72 hours of the subscription term and haven't received any Subscription Services | Full refund |
| A MEDVi provider disqualifies you for a medical reason | Refund of the related subscription charges after disqualification |
| You're on a monthly plan and cancel after a charge goes through | No refund for that month or earlier months, except the listed disqualification rule |
| You prepaid for 2 or more months and then cancel | Refund for the months when no medication shipped |
| You cancel less than 72 hours before your next billing date | The next cycle can be charged; cancellation takes effect on the following cycle |
| Medication arrives damaged or incorrect | Report it at once; damaged items may be replaced with proof, and incorrect items will be replaced |
Source: MEDVi Cancellation and Refund Policy, read September 23, 2026. MEDVi's public pages show a “MEDVi guarantee” badge, but the pages we read did not spell out complete guarantee terms. Ask MEDVi for those terms in writing before relying on the badge.
The policy contains one wording conflict worth seeing. Near the top it says medical disqualification receives a full refund. Its FAQ later says a refund may be issued if a provider decides you are no longer eligible. If this applies to you, get the amount and timing confirmed in writing.
Why no refund on a monthly plan? MEDVi's terms say prescription products cannot be returned for resale or reuse once filled. That is the reason MEDVi gives for treating those sales as final.
Prepaying? Ask whether your bundle ships one month at a time. If it does, any months that haven't shipped can come back to you if you cancel.
What customers say about billing
Most MEDVi Trustpilot reviews are positive, but billing and cancellation show up in recent one-star complaints. Two examples:
- On September 23, 2026, a Trustpilot reviewer (Sunnie C., 1 star) said she was charged again after asking to cancel — and had to forward MEDVi's own confirmation email back to them as proof.
- On September 1, 2026, another reviewer (Margaret D., 1 star) said her prepaid yearly plan renewed without warning. MEDVi's public reply says the charge was refunded and the subscription canceled.
In the recent complaints we read, the common thread was a renewal the person didn't expect. Written proof mattered in one of those cases. On the bright side, Trustpilot shows MEDVi replied to 99% of its negative reviews as of September 23, 2026.
3 things to do in your first week
- Screenshot your plan, first charge, refill price, and next billing date.
- Put your cancel-by dates in your calendar. The calculator above can do it for you.
- Know your dispute rights. MEDVi's terms send many disputes to arbitration (a private process instead of a court) and waive class and jury proceedings. You can opt out by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting the terms. Your opt-out email must include your name, address, account email, and a clear statement that you decline arbitration.
You can stop a future cycle with the required notice — and now you know exactly how to document it.
If that feels fair, check MEDVi eligibility and view your checkout price → (sponsored link)
Can you use insurance, HSA, or FSA with MEDVi?
MEDVi's terms say its affiliated medical groups are out of network with commercial and government health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. MEDVi advertises that all of its plans are FSA and HSA eligible. The IRS treats a weight-loss program as a medical expense only when it treats a disease a physician diagnosed, such as obesity; your plan administrator still controls reimbursement.
An HSA (health savings account) and FSA (flexible spending account) let you pay for medical costs with money that hasn't been taxed. That can make a MEDVi plan feel cheaper.
Here's what to know:
- MEDVi says "FSA & HSA eligible with all plans" on its landing page.
- The IRS says a weight-loss program counts as a medical expense for HSA or FSA use only if it treats a specific disease diagnosed by a physician — like obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, or heart disease.
- Keep itemized receipts, and check with your plan administrator if you're not sure.
- MEDVi does not handle this as in-network billing. Its FAQ says your insurance may reimburse you for brand-name options, but you'd need to confirm that and file under your plan's rules.

What does the FDA warning letter say about MEDVi?
MEDVi is an operating telehealth platform. Its prescribers come through OpenLoop Health, and its medication is filled by named partner pharmacies. On February 20, 2026, the FDA sent MEDVi a warning letter about how it labeled and advertised compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide. Compounded GLP-1s are not FDA-approved.
We'd want to know this before paying, so here it is plainly.
What the FDA's warning letter said — and didn't What it said: MEDVi's website showed the MEDVi name on its medication labels, which suggested MEDVi made the drugs when it doesn't. The FDA also said some website claims comparing MEDVi's compounded drugs to brand-name drugs implied FDA approval or review that never happened. What it didn't say: The letter was about marketing and labels. It was not a recall, and it didn't report test results on the medication itself. See it yourself: FDA Warning Letter 721455 to MEDVi, February 20, 2026.
What “compounded” means: A compounded drug is made by a pharmacy or outsourcing facility instead of being reviewed and approved by the FDA as a finished product. The FDA does not review compounded drugs for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they're sold. They are not FDA-approved Wegovy® or Zepbound®, and they're not generic versions of them either. MEDVi names its partner pharmacies on its site: Triad Rx (Alabama), RedRock Pharmacy (Utah), and Beaker Pharmacy & Compounding (Texas).
Ads vs. checkout: MEDVi's own site says some of its content may be made or enhanced with AI, and that people in its ads may be actors or models. One more reason to trust your checkout screen over an ad.
How patients rate MEDVi (Trustpilot, September 23, 2026):
| Measure | Result |
|---|---|
| Overall rating | 4.3 out of 5 |
| Number of reviews | 14,818 |
| 5-star reviews | 79% |
| 1-star reviews | 12% |
| Negative reviews MEDVi replied to | 99% |
Trustpilot says MEDVi invites customers to leave reviews. Ratings and counts can change, and reviews show service experiences rather than medical proof.

Is MEDVi a good fit if you want no membership fee?
MEDVi fits cash-pay adults who are open to a compounded GLP-1 and want an advertised bundled program price with no separate membership fee on top. It is a weaker fit for people who want brand-name medication with prices shown up front, want insurance to pay, or want refunds after a monthly charge. The right answer depends on the treatment path, not the word "membership."

How MEDVi's pricing looks through our five pillars
We score every provider with the RX Index Score. Here's how MEDVi's fee setup looks on each pillar. These are notes, not a full score — that lives in our MEDVi review.
- Clinical legitimacy: MEDVi says care is provided through U.S.-licensed OpenLoop Health clinicians. Compounded drugs aren't FDA-approved, and the FDA sent MEDVi a warning letter in February 2026.
- Care quality: MEDVi advertises unlimited 24/7 support. 79% of Trustpilot reviews are 5 stars, but billing complaints do show up.
- Transparency: MEDVi advertises no separate membership fee on its compounded plans. But its offer pages disagree with each other ($116, $166, $179), and brand-name drug prices aren't posted.
- Access: Fully online. MEDVi lists compounded injections and tablets plus three brand-name cards; the Wegovy® and Zepbound® injection cards say availability can change.
- Cost: MEDVi's official public pages show several semaglutide amounts rather than one universal price. Price-lock offers are much lower if your checkout confirms them.
Your before-you-pay checklist
Before you enter your card, make sure you can see all 7 of these:
- The exact medication and form (shot or tablet)
- Whether it's compounded or FDA-approved brand-name
- Your first charge
- Your refill charge
- Whether medication is included in that price
- Your next billing date and how often you're billed
- The cancellation and refund rules
Can't find one? Ask MEDVi support:
- "Is this the full charge, or will medication be added?"
- "What will my next charge be, and on what date?"
- "How many days are in my billing cycle?"
- "Will my price change if my dose changes?"
- "Is my price locked? Can you confirm that in writing?"
Does this sound like your situation — cash-pay, open to compounded, and ready for one simple bill?

How we verified this page
The RX Index Editorial Team read MEDVi's public pricing pages, cancellation and refund policy, and terms on September 23, 2026, along with FDA records and compounded-drug guidance, MEDVi's Trustpilot page, IRS guidance, and Ro's pricing page. We did not complete a paid MEDVi checkout or access a private patient account, so the checkout screen and portal show the account-specific price and billing date we could not see publicly.
What we verified, and when:
- MEDVi's main GLP-1 page, weight-loss landing page, “Price-Lock Guarantee” page, and GLP-1 upsell page — September 23, 2026
- MEDVi's Cancellation and Refund Policy — September 23, 2026
- MEDVi's Terms and Conditions (last updated March 31, 2026) — read September 23, 2026
- FDA warning letter 721455 to MEDVi, LLC (February 20, 2026)
- FDA's current compounded-drug guidance
- MEDVi's Trustpilot profile — September 23, 2026
- Ro's weight-loss pricing page — September 23, 2026
- IRS guidance on weight-loss programs and HSA/FSA funds
What we could not verify:
- A completed MEDVi checkout or a private patient account
- How many days are in MEDVi's billing cycle (the current policy doesn't say)
- MEDVi's brand-name medication prices or the billing interval for the public $99 cards
- Which MEDVi offer page a given link will open
- MEDVi's full written guarantee terms
- One public tablet refill price that applies to every offer
- One universal dose-change pricing rule for every MEDVi treatment path
Who made this page: The RX Index Editorial Team. We don't list a medical reviewer because none reviewed this page. The team verified public prices, plan cards, policy terms, FDA records, and dated review-platform data. It did not test treatment or complete a paid checkout.
Why it exists: MEDVi's pages use "membership" in more than one way, and its prices change from page to page. We wanted one place that sorts it all out before you enter a card.
How we score: Every provider on The RX Index is rated with the RX Index Score on five pillars: clinical legitimacy, care quality, transparency, access, and cost.
Update log:
- September 23, 2026: First published. Checked MEDVi's no-fee compounded wording, three $99 brand-name cards, four public price sources, refund policy, terms, FDA records, Trustpilot, IRS guidance, and Ro's prices.
MEDVi membership fee FAQ
Does MEDVi have a membership fee?
Not on its current compounded GLP-1 plans. MEDVi's compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide offers use one bundled price with no separate membership fee. Its brand-name Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, and Zepbound® injection cards do have a separate line: $99 plus the medication. The public cards do not state the $99 billing interval.
Does MEDVi charge a monthly fee?
MEDVi charges a recurring program amount, but its current public policy does not say every plan bills monthly. On compounded plans, that recurring charge is the program price itself — care, medication if prescribed, and shipping in one charge. On the current brand-name cards, the structure is $99 membership plus the medication, but the cards do not state the billing interval.
Is MEDVi a subscription?
Yes. MEDVi's policy calls its program a "Subscription Service" that begins when you finish the intake form and pay for the first month. Having no separate membership fee doesn't stop the plan from renewing. It renews until you cancel.
How much is MEDVi after the first month?
There is no one public answer for every offer. Official MEDVi pages show semaglutide amounts of $116, $166, $179, and $299, but those pages do not establish one universal recurring price. The price-lock page also conflicts with itself. Check the recurring amount on your own checkout screen.
Is the $99 fee charged on compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide?
No. The $99 membership appears only on MEDVi's brand-name plan cards: Wegovy® pill, Wegovy® injection, and Zepbound® injection. MEDVi's compounded plans say no membership or hidden fees.
Is $99 the total price for Wegovy® or Zepbound® through MEDVi?
No. MEDVi lists $99 membership plus medication cost, and the medication price isn't shown on its public pages. One MEDVi landing page lists Ozempic® injection starting at $1,999 a month. If you want brand-name prices shown up front, Ro publishes every dose price.
Does MEDVi have hidden fees?
MEDVi advertises no separate hidden, membership, or standard shipping fee on its compounded offer. But read three rules: medical consult fees can't be refunded, your final charge can change based on your medication and pharmacy, and “free” dietitian visits carry an insurance and copay footnote.
How often does MEDVi bill?
MEDVi's current policy says you're billed each “billing cycle” but does not give one universal number of days. Do not assume every plan is monthly or every 28 days. Check the next billing date and interval in your checkout or patient portal.
Can I cancel MEDVi anytime?
Yes. MEDVi says you can cancel at any time for any reason. Email [email protected] or use portal chat at least 72 hours before your next billing date. If the request arrives later, the next cycle can be charged and cancellation starts after it.
Does MEDVi give refunds?
Only in certain cases. MEDVi's policy says medical disqualification receives a refund, but its FAQ later says a refund may be issued. It also says you receive a full refund if you cancel within the first 72 hours before getting any services. Monthly plans aren't refunded after a charge. Prepaid plans refund months when no medication shipped.
Does MEDVi take insurance?
MEDVi's terms say its affiliated medical groups are not contracted with commercial or government health plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. MEDVi says insurance may reimburse a brand-name option, but you would need to confirm that and file under your plan's rules.
Can I pay for MEDVi with HSA or FSA?
MEDVi advertises that all of its plans are FSA and HSA eligible. The IRS treats a weight-loss program as a medical expense only when it treats a disease a physician diagnosed, such as obesity. Keep itemized receipts and ask your plan administrator whether your expense qualifies.
Are MEDVi's compounded medications FDA-approved?
No. Compounded drugs are prepared by pharmacies and are not FDA-approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they're sold. MEDVi's own disclaimer says the same. Its brand-name Wegovy® and Zepbound® options are separate FDA-approved medications.
Is MEDVi cheaper than Ro?
It depends on the treatment path, and MEDVi's public brand-name cards do not give enough information to calculate a complete total. MEDVi shows $99 plus medication but does not state the billing interval or drug price on those cards. Ro publishes both its membership schedule and brand-name dose prices. MEDVi's bundled compounded path is different, so it is not an apples-to-apples brand-name comparison.
