Knownwell Reviews: What Patients Say and What You'll Really Pay

By The RX Index Editorial Team · Last verified

Knownwell reviews are strong: 4.8 out of 5 from 240 Trustpilot reviews when we checked on October 23, 2026. It's a real obesity-medicine practice that bills insurance, including Medicare, with no membership fee. The catch: self-pay visits cost $299, then $149 each, and your medicine is a separate bill.

Below: cash-pay budgets for each medicine, what the complaints have in common, and the checks that can help you avoid an unexpected visit bill.

The RX Index is the independent GLP-1 decision resource that scores telehealth providers and treatment paths on clinical legitimacy, care quality, transparency, access, and cost, so readers can choose the path that fits their situation.

RX Index Decision Verdict: Knownwell is a legitimate, insurance-first obesity-medicine practice that's worth booking when your plan covers the visits. If you pay cash, compare its visit fees with a subscription program using the number of appointments you expect.

  • Best for: Adults with in-network commercial insurance or Medicare who want a weight-medicine clinician they see again and again, by video or in person, plus help with prior authorization, including Medicare's new GLP-1 Bridge.
  • Not ideal for: Anyone who wants compounded medicine, quick message-only care, or one flat monthly price that includes the drug. Knownwell only treats adults 18 and older.
  • The factor that matters most: Whether Knownwell is in-network for your exact plan in your state. Get that confirmed in writing before your first visit.

One honest limit: no review, including this one, can tell you if you'll be prescribed a GLP-1 or if your plan will pay for it. A licensed clinician and your insurer decide that. What we can do is show you the known costs and the questions to ask before you spend a dollar. Start with the costs.

What does Knownwell really cost?

Knownwell charges per visit, not per month. If Knownwell is in-network with your plan, you owe your share under the plan. For self-pay care, the first weight-management visit is $299 and each follow-up is $149. Medicine is billed separately by the pharmacy (Knownwell FAQ and insurance page, checked October 23, 2026).

Think of it like seeing a specialist, not joining a gym. Each visit is its own bill, and the prescription is a second bill on top.

Knownwell also says plainly that it is not a pharmacy and doesn't set drug prices. Its price page uses information from drugmakers; we checked their current self-pay offers directly for the table below (Knownwell medication pricing, last updated May 7, 2026).

Knownwell's published fees

This estimator runs in your browser and does not store your answers. It does not send entered values to analytics or a server.

How we did the math, so you can check it:

  • Visits: 12 visits = $299 + (11 × $149) = $1,938. Six total visits = $299 + (5 × $149) = $1,044.
  • Wegovy pill (30 tablets per fill, 13 fills): $149 + $199 + (11 × $299) = $3,637. NovoCare lists $149 for 1.5 mg, $199 for 4 mg and $299 for 9 or 25 mg.
  • Foundayo (30-day fills, 13 fills): $149 + $149 + $199 + (10 × $299) = $3,487. The 2.5 mg ($149) and 5.5 mg ($199) prices are temporary discounts that end December 31, 2026. The two highest strengths get the $299 Journey offer on the first purchase; keeping it requires the next purchase within 45 days of the previous delivery or receipt. Otherwise, they cost $349.
  • Wegovy pen (4 pens = 28 days, 14 fills): (2 × $199) + (12 × $349) = $4,586. The $199 price is for eligible new patients' first two fills of 0.25 or 0.5 mg. For NovoCare delivery, the prescription must be written and received by December 31, 2026, and shipped by January 31, 2027; see the full delivery terms for its new-patient rule. Wegovy HD (7.2 mg) is $399.
  • Zepbound vial or KwikPen (28 days, 14 fills): $299 + $399 + (12 × $449) = $6,086. The first purchase of 7.5 mg or higher gets the $449 Journey offer. Keeping it requires the next purchase within 45 days of the previous delivery or receipt; otherwise it's $499 to $699 (full terms). Needles or syringes cost extra.
  • The budget period runs October 23, 2026, to October 22, 2027. It assumes a first purchase on day one, no gaps, one standard supply per purchase, and all selected visit payments within those 365 days. Thirteen 30-day fills buy 390 days of medicine; fourteen 28-day fills buy 392 days. The last fill lasts 25 or 27 days beyond the period. These totals show money spent during the year, not exactly one year's medicine used. A 28-day box means some calendar months have two drug charges.

The price sequences above are examples, not a plan to move you through strengths. Foundayo's second and third example purchases fall on November 22 and December 22, 2026, before its temporary discounts end. Later prices are assumed unchanged; neither maker promises the full year's total.

If a fee isn't listed, it isn't $0. Lab costs, optional nutrition visits, needles, taxes and any shipping or other fees go on top. Twelve self-pay nutrition visits would add $748 ($99 + 11 × $59).

Worked example for the estimator: say you pay cash, budget for 12 Knownwell visits, and your clinician prescribes Zepbound. Using the price assumptions above, your first visit plus first fill is $598. A follow-up plus the fourth fill is also $598. Visit and medicine purchases during the first 365 days total $8,024, with needles and other extra costs still to add.

If you have insurance, the math changes a lot

With in-network coverage, each visit costs your plan's copay or coinsurance. A copay is a flat amount you pay per visit. Coinsurance is a percentage. If the visit is subject to your deductible (what you pay before your plan starts sharing those costs), you may owe the plan's negotiated price until you meet it. That price is not necessarily Knownwell's self-pay fee (HealthCare.gov).

Knownwell advertises a "$25 average copay." Its weight-management page also says visits average "$31" with insurance (Knownwell weight management, checked October 23, 2026). Neither number is your quote. As a rough picture only: 12 visits at Knownwell's $31 average would be $372 a year in visit costs, before medicine.

If you have Medicare

Knownwell says it's in-network with Medicare for visits. For the medicine, Medicare's GLP-1 Bridge lets eligible Part D members pay $50 per fill from July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027 (CMS, page modified July 13, 2026). Under the purchase schedule above, 13 or 14 eligible fills during the first 365 days cost $650 or $700; the last fill extends beyond that period. Your visit cost is your normal Medicare cost-sharing, so ask Knownwell for that number before booking. More on the Bridge below.

Knownwell isn't the right fit for everyone, and neither is any single provider. The best GLP-1 path depends on your state, your insurance and its drug list (your plan's formulary), whether an FDA-approved or compounded medicine is appropriate for you, a shot or a pill, and your budget. Before you book, The RX Index's Find My GLP-1 Path tool asks a few quick questions, then shows the paths and providers that fit your goals, budget, insurance and situation. It's free, takes about 2 minutes, and needs no signup. Coverage still depends on your insurer or the relevant program.

Knownwell reviews: what patients praise and what they complain about

The positive Knownwell reviews we read describe kind, unhurried clinicians who don't judge people about their weight. The critical accounts raise concerns about billing, insurance status, scheduling, portal messages and whether the visit addressed the treatment sought. Reviews describe service. They can't tell you your bill or whether a medicine will work for you.

When we checked on October 23, 2026, Knownwell's Trustpilot profile showed 4.8 out of 5 from 240 reviews, nearly all five-star. Trustpilot itself notes that Knownwell hasn't invited customers to review recently, so the reviews may not represent everyone.

What the good reviews say

Reviewers often name their clinician and say they felt heard for the first time. Several mention video visits that felt personal, help from staff with insurance, and dietitian visits that helped.

The no-membership model comes up too. One reviewer, Pam Finter (experience June 17, 2026), wrote: "I'm not paying any annual subscription fee - just the Dr visits." Another, M. Simpson (September 17, 2026), said staff had been very helpful "ironing out any issues with insurance and pharmacies."

What the complaints tell you to check

These are individual accounts, not a measure of how often problems happen. Each points to a detail you can check before booking.

How much should you trust the stars and the stats?

A star rating tells you how a group of people felt about the service. It doesn't measure weight loss, safety, or what you'll pay. Knownwell's own marketing numbers deserve the same care, because they're self-reported and its pages don't always agree.

How much should you trust the stars and the stats?
What Knownwell's banners sayWhat its own pages also show
"16% average weight loss at 12 months" and "97% keep weight off after two years"Company-reported results. The outcomes report is behind a form, so we could not check its methods or confirm peer review. These are not a promise for you.
"4.9 average rating"Its LillyDirect landing page says 4.8. Trustpilot showed 4.8.
"Trusted by 30,000+ patients"The homepage and clinics page now both show 30,000+. We did not independently verify that company-reported count.
"$25 average copay"Its weight-management page says visits average "$31" with insurance. Either way, it's an average, not your price.
Health coaching with a smart scaleThe same site's menu lists health coaching as "Coming Soon." Ask whether it's available to you.
Primary careThe menu says "Plano only"; the clinics page also shows primary care in Massachusetts. Ask your clinic.
In-person care in TexasThe Plano clinic has an address and phone number, but the menu still says Texas is "Coming Soon."

These differences are why you confirm the details that matter to you before you book.

Does Knownwell take your insurance, and does that cover your medicine?

Knownwell says it's in-network with most major commercial plans and Medicare, and its site shows logos including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna and UnitedHealthcare. Coverage for your visits and coverage for your medicine are two separate questions. Your plan can pay for the visit and still deny the drug.

In-network means the clinician has a contract with your plan and bills at its agreed rate. Your plan's rules set your share. Knownwell's insurance page has a tool that shows which plans it takes in each state. A logo isn't enough. You need your exact plan, in your state.

Your medicine runs through your plan's pharmacy benefit, not its medical benefit. Many plans require prior authorization for GLP-1s. That's a permission slip from your insurer: your clinician sends proof you meet the plan's rules, and the plan says yes or no before it pays. Knownwell says its team submits prior authorizations and appeals for you.

Say you're 52, on a Blue Cross plan through work. Knownwell's tool lists Blue Cross in your state, so you book. But your plan is a different Blue Cross network, and two visits later you get a bill for hundreds of dollars. A review we read describes this kind of billing problem. Confirming your exact network and expected charge before booking can help you avoid it.

Keep these four questions apart. They have four different answers:

  1. Are my visits in-network? Ask Knownwell and your insurer.
  2. Does my plan cover the medicine? Ask the pharmacy-benefits number on your card.
  3. Can I use a drugmaker's savings offer? Commercial-insurance copay offers exclude government-plan beneficiaries. Separate self-pay offers have different rules, so check the exact program; paying cash does not automatically make every discount available.
  4. Can I pay with an HSA or FSA card? Knownwell's FAQ says yes for copays. Card acceptance is separate from the IRS rules for qualified medical expenses; check your account or plan rules and keep receipts.

Knownwell says you'll need a referral with an HMO or some EPO plans.

What if your plan denies the medicine?

Find out why first. A denial for missing paperwork can often be fixed and resubmitted. A plan that excludes weight-loss drugs entirely usually can't be fixed by any provider. Ask your Knownwell clinician which kind of denial you got. Our guides on how to appeal a GLP-1 denial, the documents prior authorization needs, and our appeal letter template walk through it.

If the drug isn't covered, ask the pharmacy whether you qualify for the maker's self-pay offer and what your prescribed strength will cost. The table above shows the offer assumptions.

Medicare members: the GLP-1 Bridge

The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge is a short-term Medicare program that covers certain GLP-1 medicines for weight management at a $50 copay per fill, from July 1, 2026, through December 31, 2027. You need Part D drug coverage, you must meet Medicare's BMI and health criteria, and your clinician must get prior authorization (CMS).

The Bridge includes Foundayo, Wegovy pills and injections, and Zepbound KwikPen only. Zepbound single-dose vials and single-dose pens aren't included. KwikPen needles cost extra (CMS provider rules).

Some conditions use regular Part D instead: type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, or the liver disease MASH with moderate to advanced scarring and no cirrhosis. A prescription to lower the risk of major heart or stroke events also goes through Part D. Having heart disease alone doesn't rule out the Bridge when the prescription is for weight management. Ask your prescriber which route applies.

Knownwell says its clinicians check whether you qualify and submit the Bridge prior authorization for you (Knownwell Medicare page, updated June 2026). Your own doctor can submit it too. A few details from CMS that surprise people: the $50 doesn't count toward your Part D out-of-pocket limit, and Extra Help (the low-income subsidy) doesn't lower it. The Bridge has no appeal process, but a clinician can resubmit a request with corrected or new information.

Not sure if you have Part D? Look at your plan card or call 1-800-MEDICARE. Our Medicare GLP-1 Bridge guide covers who qualifies, and we compare providers that handle Bridge requests. For Medicare members who want a hands-on obesity-medicine clinician who'll do the paperwork, Knownwell is one of the stronger options we've looked at.

Medicaid or TRICARE

Knownwell's FAQ doesn't say which Medicaid or TRICARE plans it accepts. Check its insurance tool for your state, or call 1-888-671-5902 before booking. You can also see GLP-1 providers that accept Medicaid.

Five checks before you book Knownwell

Before your first visit, confirm three things: what the visit will cost you, what the medicine will cost you, and who manages your care between visits. A written answer is worth more than any review, because other people's plans aren't yours.

Five checks before you book Knownwell
CheckAsk this, word for wordWho can answerIf you can't get an answer

5. Paying and canceling"What do I pay today, and what's refunded if I cancel or the treatment isn't right for me?"KnownwellUse the published rule: cancel more than 24 hours ahead.

Want it in writing? Copy this into Knownwell's sign-up form or patient app:

"Before my first visit, please confirm in writing: (1) that knownwell is in-network for my plan [plan name and member ID] in [state], (2) what I'll owe for the first visit and each follow-up, (3) whether I need a referral, (4) whether any labs will be billed separately, and (5) who will submit prior authorization for my medicine and which pharmacy you'll send it to."

Canceling an appointment

There's no membership to cancel. But each booked visit has rules: cancel more than 24 hours ahead and a self-pay visit is fully refunded. Cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, or miss the visit, and you're charged $50 (Knownwell FAQ). The FAQ doesn't say how long a refund takes, or what happens at exactly 24 hours, so give yourself a cushion.

If your commercial plan isn't on Knownwell's list but might cover a GLP-1 pen, you don't have to guess. Ro offers a free coverage check for the Wegovy, Ozempic and Zepbound pens and handles prior authorization paperwork if you join. It can't check the Wegovy pill, Foundayo or Zepbound KwikPen. If you sign up for Ro's care later, the membership and medicine are separate costs, and your insurer still makes the coverage decision.

Check your pen coverage with Ro

What is Knownwell's care like?

Knownwell is built around live visits with the same clinician over time. First visits run about 40 minutes and follow-ups about 20, by video or in person. A visit leads to a care plan, which may or may not include a prescription.

Here's the usual path, based on Knownwell's own pages:

  1. Book and confirm costs. Self-pay visits are paid when you book.
  2. First visit (about 40 minutes). Your clinician goes over your health history, weight history and goals. Visits must be live. Face or body photos are not required to qualify.
  3. Labs if needed. Some medicines and health histories need lab work first.
  4. Treatment and coverage. If medicine fits, your clinician prescribes it and the team handles prior authorization. Knownwell can send prescriptions to LillyDirect or another pharmacy that fits your coverage.
  5. Follow-ups. Knownwell says it checks in monthly at the start. You'll need follow-up visits to keep prescriptions going, though not for every single refill.

For video visits, you must be physically in a state where your clinician is licensed. If you're traveling, tell the team ahead of time, or your visit may be moved.

Will they weigh me?

Knownwell's clinics advertise size-inclusive seating and private weighing. We couldn't find a set weighing rule for video visits. If being weighed is hard for you, say so when you book. A weight-inclusive practice should be ready for that conversation.

Dietitians and the same clinician

Knownwell's registered dietitians see patients by video after your first weight-management visit. Self-pay visits are $99, then $59. Knownwell also says you'll see the same clinician or care team over time. Linda Bettencourt described her nurse practitioner leaving and arranging a new one (experience August 26, 2026), so ask what happens if your clinician changes.

Knownwell or your own doctor?

If your primary care doctor already prescribes, follows up and handles insurance paperwork for you, that's a strong setup. You don't need a second practice. Knownwell makes the most sense when you want an obesity-medicine specialist, longer visits, or help your current doctor can't give. Knownwell says it shares visit summaries with your other doctors unless you ask it not to.

Which medicines can Knownwell prescribe?

Knownwell says its clinicians prescribe only FDA-approved medicines (Knownwell Medicare page). Its pricing page lists Wegovy (pill and pen), Zepbound, Foundayo, Saxenda, Contrave and Qsymia, plus Ozempic, which is approved for type 2 diabetes. A clinician decides what fits you. Booking doesn't mean you'll get a prescription.

Qualifying for a GLP-1 usually depends on your BMI and health conditions. Our GLP-1 BMI eligibility chart explains the common cutoffs. Meeting them doesn't guarantee a prescription.

Knownwell doesn't offer compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide. That's worth knowing because compounded drugs are not FDA-approved, and the FDA doesn't review them for safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold (FDA). Our compounded vs. brand-name guide explains the difference.

A quick safety note: Don't use Wegovy or Zepbound if you or a family member has had medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC), a rare thyroid cancer, or if you have MEN 2, an inherited gland condition (Wegovy label; Zepbound label). If you're under 18, pregnant or planning a pregnancy, have type 1 diabetes, or have a history of an eating disorder, start with your own doctor before any weight program. Knownwell treats adults 18 and older only. See our list of GLP-1 hard contraindications.

Is Knownwell legit?

Yes. Knownwell, Inc. is a Needham, Massachusetts company co-founded by CEO Brooke Boyarsky Pratt and Dr. Angela Fitch, a past president of the Obesity Medicine Association. Medical care is provided by independent medical groups, Seen Medical Group, under the Knownwell name (Knownwell terms, modified March 24, 2026).

A few more facts that back that up:

  • Backing: In October 2025, Knownwell raised $25 million in a round led by CVS Health Ventures, bringing its total to more than $50 million (company announcement).
  • Drugmaker listings: Lilly listed Knownwell as a care option on LillyDirect in April 2025 (company announcement), and Novo Nordisk named it a NovoCare provider for the Wegovy pill (company announcement).
  • Real clinics: La Jolla, California; Atlanta (Sandy Springs), Georgia; Schaumburg, Westmont and Chicago, Illinois; Needham, Woburn and Weymouth, Massachusetts; New York City; and Plano, Texas (Knownwell clinics).

One piece of fine print: Knownwell's terms include binding arbitration and a class-action waiver, with a small-claims-court option described in the agreement. Read that section before agreeing.

"Legit" means real and accountable. It doesn't mean every bill will be right or every appointment easy to get, which is why the five checks above matter.

Should you choose Knownwell, Ro, your own doctor, or another path?

It comes down to how you'll pay. With in-network insurance or Medicare, Knownwell's per-visit model can be affordable and hands-on. Paying cash, six to 12 Knownwell visits cost $1,044 to $1,938. Ro's care payments in the first 365 days range from $927 with annual prepayment to $1,678 with monthly billing. The $927 buys an intro month plus the next 12 months of care, so it includes care beyond the comparison period. Medicine is extra with either provider.

Ro prices from Ro's pricing page, checked October 23, 2026. Ro refunds the first $39 if you're not eligible for a GLP-1. See our full Ro review.

Before prepaying, read Ro's terms: paid membership fees are generally non-refundable, subject to stated exceptions. Cancel at least 48 hours before renewal. Ro's insurance page says Medicaid members are ineligible; Medicare, Medigap and TRICARE members may qualify for certain cash options.

Same drug prices, purchase dates and excluded extra costs as our cost table. Ro's annual plan is $39 for the first month plus $888 prepaid for the next 12 months: $927 paid during this period, buying 13 months of care. The $888 is 12 × its advertised $74 monthly equivalent. These examples do not use Ro's optional discounts for buying several medicine fills upfront.

Find yourself in this list:

  • You have an in-network commercial plan and want a specialist you'll see in person or by video. Confirm your plan in writing, then check Knownwell's state and plan list and book.
  • You have Medicare Part D and want help with the Bridge. Knownwell or your own doctor. Start with our Bridge guide.
  • Your own doctor already manages your care well. Stay put and ask about NovoCare or LillyDirect self-pay prices.
  • You're eligible for Ro, paying cash for a brand-name medicine and don't need in-person visits. Compare Ro's care fee below.
  • Your clinician has decided a compounded medicine is appropriate for you. Knownwell isn't the place; see Embody below.
  • You're still not sure. Use Find My GLP-1 Path.

If you're eligible for Ro, paying cash for brand-name medicine and comfortable with online care, Ro's care fee can come in lower than Knownwell's with monthly visits. Ro gets started for $39, then as low as $74 a month with the annual plan paid upfront ($888). Medicine is extra; Ro says its cash prices match the makers' direct programs. What you give up is in-person visits and Knownwell's insurance billing for care.

Knownwell won't prescribe compounded GLP-1s. If your clinician documents a patient-specific medical need that an FDA-approved drug can't meet and a compounded prescription fits current FDA rules, Embody offers compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide with the medicine included and no separate membership fee. Its plan is still a recurring paid subscription. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved or reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality before they're sold. Read our Embody review and confirm the exact medicine, pharmacy and full price first. Embody's refund policy requires cancellation at least 72 hours before billing; payments are generally non-refundable. If its provider disqualifies you for medical reasons, its policy allows a refund of the unused portion after deducting services already provided.

Knownwell-stated, not tested by us: which plans are in-network, average copay and visit cost, visit lengths, weight-loss results, patient counts, prior authorization help, and the same-clinician promise.

Our own work: every cost table and calculation on this page, using the price, eligibility and purchase assumptions shown with it.

What we couldn't confirm: your in-network status, your Medicare visit cost, which Medicaid or TRICARE plans are accepted, what labs cost, typical wait times for a first visit, and how Knownwell's outcomes report was done (it's behind a form). We didn't book a visit, take any medicine, or test the app as a patient.

Our methodology weighs six factors: clinical legitimacy and safety (25%), care and support model (20%), medication options and fit (15%), transparency and honest terms (15%), value / true cost (15%), and access and speed (10%). We haven't published a numeric score for Knownwell, so this review uses our Decision Verdict instead.

Knownwell reviews: common questions

Is Knownwell legit?

Yes. It's a venture-backed company co-founded by an obesity-medicine leader, with care delivered by independent medical groups and clinics in six states. Its Trustpilot rating was 4.8 out of 5 when we checked. The complaints we read included billing, scheduling, communication and treatment-expectation problems.

Should I use Knownwell or my primary care doctor?

If your doctor already prescribes, follows up and handles insurance paperwork, staying put is reasonable. Knownwell is worth it when you want an obesity-medicine specialist, longer visits, or help your doctor doesn't offer. Paying for two practices only makes sense if the second one adds something real.

Do they make you step on a scale?

Knownwell's clinics advertise private weighing and size-inclusive seating. We couldn't find a fixed weighing rule for video visits. If weighing is a sensitive topic for you, tell the team when you book.

How much does Knownwell cost without insurance?

The first weight-management visit is $299 and each follow-up is $149. Medicine is a separate bill. With monthly visits for a year, that's $1,938 in visits before medicine, or $1,044 with six visits.

Does Knownwell take insurance?

Yes. Knownwell says it's in-network with most major commercial plans and Medicare, depending on your plan and state. Use its insurance tool, then confirm with your insurer before your first visit.

If Knownwell takes my insurance, is my GLP-1 covered?

Not necessarily. Your visits run through your medical benefit and your medicine through your pharmacy benefit. Your plan can cover one and deny the other, so check both.

Is medication included?

No. A pharmacy bills it separately at your insurance price or a confirmed cash price. Knownwell doesn't sell medicine or set drug prices.

Is there a membership fee?

No. You pay per visit. There's a $50 fee for missing a visit or canceling less than 24 hours ahead.

Does Knownwell prescribe compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide?

No. Knownwell says its clinicians prescribe only FDA-approved medicines. If your clinician says a compounded drug is appropriate for you, that would mean a different provider.

Can Knownwell help me get a GLP-1 through Medicare?

Yes. Knownwell says it checks eligibility and submits prior authorization for the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge. If you qualify, the medicine is $50 per fill through December 31, 2027. Your own doctor can submit the request too.

Does Knownwell take Medicaid?

Its FAQ doesn't say which Medicaid plans it accepts. Check its insurance tool for your state or call 1-888-671-5902 before booking.

Is Knownwell all virtual?

Weight-management and nutrition visits are available by video in all 50 states. In-person clinics are in California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, New York and Texas. During a video visit you must be in a state where your clinician is licensed.

Will Knownwell keep prescribing my current GLP-1?

That's up to Knownwell's clinician after your visit. Before you switch, ask who will review your records, handle prior authorization and send your next prescription. Don't assume your prescription transfers on its own.

Can I see Knownwell if I'm under 18?

No. Knownwell's FAQ says it treats adults 18 and older. Talk with your own doctor or a pediatric specialist.

Find My GLP-1 Path

The right GLP-1 provider isn't the same for everyone. It depends on whether you'll use insurance or pay cash, whether you want an FDA-approved or compounded medication, your preferred route (injection or oral), and your budget. Answer a few questions in The RX Index's Find My GLP-1 Path tool to see a suggested provider route and pricing to review before you choose. It does not check your plan's coverage or copay; confirm those in your insurer's member portal or with the pharmacy-benefits number on your card.
